Brian Richmond and Kevin Jones served in the U.S. Navy for several years, and offer nearly 30 years of combined field experience in electrical testing, operations and preventative maintenance. Together with Sarah Sienkowski’s background in back office operations, customer service and executive support, Forefront Electrical Testing is a well-rounded team.

Meet the Team

Sarah Sienkowski

President

With a father, two brothers and an uncle in the electrical industry, it was only natural that Sarah Sienkowski would start Forefront Electrical Testing. Before starting Forefront, Sarah honed her skills for several years at an electrical testing company in Burr Ridge, Illinois, where she ran the accounting department; developed policies, guidelines and procedures; and helped meet short-term and long-term company objectives. As the head of operations for Forefront, Sarah has a passion for honest, quality and timely customer service. She is motivated by doing the right thing for her customers and running an efficient and sustainable business.

Brian Richmond

Vice President

Brian Richmond offers over 20 years of experience at electrical troubleshooting, repair, operations and preventive maintenance. He is experienced at supervising training, operation and maintenance of electrical systems on an operational nuclear power plant. He works closely with contractors to provide accurate quotes, develop training programs for new field engineers, and he coordinates handoff of projects from sales to operations.

Brian developed on-site training and education for 8 years in the U.S. Navy. 

In prior association, Brian has performed acceptance and maintenance testing in accordance to NETA and NECA standards as lead engineer for:

Kevin Jones

Vice President

Kevin Jones’ expertise in electronic/electrical maintenance, repairs, maintenance management and supervision for over 8 years with the U.S. Navy. He managed daily operations in accordance with established policies, procedures, local command procedures and tech manuals. He supervised up to 14 technicians during daily operations on an aircraft carrier maintaining CVW 5 operational. Kevin also spent over 11 years as a field engineer performing NETA testing in accordance with ANSI/ NETA standards and manufacturers published data. He also served as a field service technician responsible for scheduling and performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems for customers.

At Forefront Electrical Testing, Kevin is responsible for supervising technicians, test equipment, product quality, scheduling and reports delivered to customers. He oversees a team that performs acceptance and maintenance testing per NETA and NECA Standards. Additionally, Kevin coordinates semi-annual calibration; test equipment repair; review, correction, and delivery of test reports and summary reports; technical expert to assist technicians with test equipment, software, and items under test; on-the-job training of technicians; conducting monthly technician meetings; and technician annual reviews.
